Reduce an image of your web-page in image editing software using a shut vector path known as clipping path. Once this path in created any outdoors part of that image could be taken out according to our wish and we can get our removed image for additional use. Which clipped image can be applied on requisite background and by doing this web-page gets a new look.

Where is Clipping Path used?

Clipping Path is used when we have to put together any design for brochure, magazine, web-page etc. and particular image is required with customization. For instance, a few magazine cover is required having background eco-friendly but required image have background azure. So to match them we required to established a clipping-path around which image to extract this and utilized on Illustrator that shows just image along with transparent background and then which image is placed it on required history to give journal cover a beautiful look. Different software’s are used to perform such editing.

Steps to do Clipping Path-

1. Choose an image which is to edit for your design in Photoshop for your clipping path.

2. Following image got open select the "Pen Tool" from the device box. As well as too choose "Paths" from the pencil tool menu bar which is just below of the primary Menu bar.

3. Right now drag mouse throughout the picture edges and release till last edge. Following suitable distance, once again drag mouse over image edge as well as continue you finally see this "o" symbol which means to near the path. Right now, click on starting place to close the path.

4. As the path is completed around the image and it is closed correctly, go to path pallete, Double click on the "work path" as well as press enter to save the actual path and the change the path from "work path” to some new name.

5. Now, Proceed to "pop up" menu in the Paths colour scheme and select clipping path. It will show a dialogue box to choose your desired path and Flatness. Select the path to Clipped and Put the flatness you needed and then click "OK". Now it’s nearly done. Flatness is that desired quantity of pixel required to make blur the image edge. The more amount of Flatness the more blurish image advantage you will get. Generally Flatness box is actually blank and the image edge will be 100% sharp which is most suitable.

6. Now that file can be saved in PSD or TIFF format and it is ready to implement into the design where it is required to be placed.
